Website → Ontology Audit
Question
Can an ontology reconstructed from a website expose semantic weaknesses that a classic SEO audit misses, such as missing entities, ambiguous services, weak relationships, inconsistent terminology or incomplete product hierarchies?
Findings
START HERE — 1) Reuse the same site/corpus as the Brand Knowledge Graph POC where possible. 2) Generate or extract the ontology/classes/properties/relations. 3) Create a manual reference model of how the business should be represented. 4) Compare automatic vs reference ontology. 5) Log missing classes, weak relationships, inconsistent terminology, ambiguous services and incomplete hierarchies. 6) Translate each valid issue into a potential on-site/GEO recommendation. 7) Judge whether this audit adds information beyond a classic SEO/content audit.
SUCCESS THRESHOLD — Continue if the ontology audit identifies at least 5 valid semantic issues and at least 3 lead to concrete, defensible website/content/structured-data recommendations.
Do not count purely technical ontology differences as useful unless they map to a real comprehension or representation problem for the brand.

Next Move
If useful, standardize a repeatable Website → Ontology audit checklist and test it on a second site from a different sector.
